Town Cleanup Strategy - Japanese Language School Kyoto Asuka Academia
2025/06/18
A group of student volunteers participated in the “Yamashina Ward 20,000 People Town Beautification Campaign.”
In the area where the school is located, the “Yamashina Ward 20,000 People Town Clean-up Campaign” is held every year on the first Sunday of June, which is Environmental Month, and is led by members of the local government association to clean up roads and rivers. Every year, students also participate and engage in beautification activities while interacting with local residents.
This time, volunteer students who live in dormitories near the school participated, picking up trash and weeding together with local residents.
Thank you to the people living on the way to school and in the surrounding area for always watching over us with warmth.
We hope to continue to mentor students and actively participate in community activities, with the aim of becoming a school that is supported by the local community.
