The Gion Festival is one of Japan’s major festivals. It was my first time participating as an international student, and I had a lot of fun.
Gion Festival July 16, 2025 For me, the Gion Festival was a wonderful opportunity to deeply experience Japanese tradition and culture.
Many people came wearing yukata, and watching the festival as a whole town united gave me a sense of the richness of Japanese culture and the bonds between people.
